If anything I do have enthusiasm for planning my summer. Ideas: Reading over my own notes and reflecting on what went right and what went wrong. Things I need to look out for for next year. One big one today--just my grading standards. Giving a lot of kids "effort" grade points toward a D instead of an F; don't like the subjectivity involved. Need to come up with something better.
Reflect on:
* What worked / what didn't
Procedures to tweek--how to deal with:
* Tardies
* Not having supplies
* Homework / grading
* Homework / passing-out
* Absences
* Late work
* Delegating
* Class Beginning
* Class Ending
* Review Games (procedures for each)
* Chants
* Student Participation

Planning Lessons / Organizing Units ... Creating Notes in Advance ... WITH EACH ASK: WHAT MISTAKES CAN I HELP THEM AVOID THIS TIME??
(This seems like an easy part)
Creating Tests / Homework / Warmup ... to go with Lessons
Building Review Games (with procedure)
Go back over everything asking yourself:
WHAT MISTAKES CAN I HELP THEM AVOID NEXT YEAR?
